Its Looking Like Tuna Salad for Jason's Lunch Tomorrow

Although Adidas the Cat picked the men's upset champion Juan Martin del Potro, tennis professional Jason Michael relied on his experience and expertise to win our friendly US Open competition. Jason accumulated 41 points to convincingly overtake his challengers and take the first annual Bill Parcells "Big Tuna" award.

A key to Jason's victory was being the only contestant to pick Caroline Wozniacki to advance beyond the round of 16, and then forecasting her to make the finals. He also correctly predicted Roger Federer making the men's finals, while the other two predicted upsets. The final point totals are as follows:

Jason the Pro 21 + 20 = 41

Gary the Writer 20 + 15 = 35

Adidas the Cat 14 + 15 = 29

Some of Jason's other predictions that panned out were:

1) Andy Roddick was doomed by a tough draw and would lose to John Isner

2) The Williams sisters did not meet in the semi's as many expected

3) Flavia Pennetta had a strong showing (made quarter finals)

4) Predicted that this could be del Potro's break through tournament

All in all, it looks like tuna fish in Jason's lunch bag tomorrow.
